#TGIF!

Spent my first week with worries. Worried about the working environment, worried about the people, worried about my jobscope, worried about worries. But I guess I can say it was good. Colleagues are really friendly, I liked being exposed to regional information. They're taking it easy on me, teaching me with utmost patience and understanding. I was given tasks to do, most of it was something comfortable for me - presentation slides. I was worried about not meeting up to their expectations, but I guess I can try to aim for the best.

It was tiring though, having to face the laptop screen for 8 hours, I feel blinded in my contact lenses. And fat, because all I do all day long was to sit in my chair and type. I hope work's gonna get better, I hope I'll get better at what I'm doing. I hope I can impress and make everyone proud. I'm thankful for where I am, and I hope I'll fly much higher!

Cheers!

운명이면 헛소리?!

It's been a long time since I updated.

So I snipped my hair again, got annoyed with the messy curls at the back of my head

Finally! After months and months of dealing with FYP, we finally presented our ideas and prototypes for the last time. And I could say I'm actually very proud of what my team had to share. To be honest, I thought we did really well, especially all the last minute add-ons and those late nights in school. I'm glad we didn't give up, despite all the procrastinations. I believe we did our best. Still quite disappointed with my pitching skills though.

Relax time thereafter, and I spoilt myself by indulging in these expensive stickers which cost me almost $10

Also, I'm glad to say I'm accepted into my internship company. I was shocked and appalled by the interview session. It left me really confused as to what I really wanted. I thought to myself, this was not even what I opt for in the first place, yet I couldn't be rejecting because it wasn't something I enjoyed doing in the first place. I chose something else, but wasn't able to get it. So am I supposed to continue moving forward as it is, or am I supposed to make a U-turn where there's no way I could get what I wanted. So I decided to go with destiny, accept the results as it is, no matter what the answer will be. And eventually, they gave me the chance that I'd never gotten from the other side. Thankful, I am, because I had not convinced them well enough that I would perform well. I am not convinced myself that I would do well either. Although the position wasn't what I expected and wished for, but you know how they always say the unexpected could be a blessing in disguise. So I'm going for it, will put in my best effort, and I hope I find my passion and future there. I'm determined to do well, learn as much as I can, be as hardworking as I can. I want my internship to be fruitful to me and advantageous to the company too. Along the way, I might probably have the thoughts on giving up, but I hope I remember that very day, how determined I became, after the interview.

I'm just so disappointed with some people, just to realise that I've been actually denied on something that was supposedly available and acceptable. Was it a lie? Was it fated to be that way? It took me a long way to find out what I really enjoyed and was passionate about, and I'm not ready to let it end here. I'll not be giving up on my current passion as well, will be hopefully trying out again next year if the passion ensues. Maybe at the end of this journey, I'll find that something that I truly am passionate about. Maybe I'll find me.
